Did you know?

The Red Sox spring training stadium in Fort Myers is named JetBlue Park (also known as JetBlue Park at Fenway South). It opened on March 3, 2012. JetBlue paid for the naming rites for the stadium.A number of the characteristics of the ballpark are taken from Fenway Park in Boston, including a "Green Monster" that features seating both on top of and behind the wall, as well as a manual scoreboard.

The facility cost $78 million, according to the Lee County website. It was paid for by tourist tax dollars collected from hotel stays. That will keep the Boston Red Sox in Lee County for the next 30 years.
