Airport news: Two more nonstop routes coming to RSW's growing list of options

Good news for New England-bound travelers in Southwest Florida.

The Lee County Port Authority announced today (Feb. 14) that Breeze Airways will begin new nonstop flights between Southwest Florida International Airport and Hartford, Connecticut (BDL) and Providence, Rhode Island (PVD) this summer.

  • The RSW-BDL flights will operate twice weekly on Wednesday and Saturday starting May 17.

  • The RSW-PVD service will start July 13 and operate three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

According to a press release from Breeze Airways, the new flights are now on sale at introductory fares from just $49* one way. Breeze offers 143 nonstop routes between 35 cities in 21 states nationally. Breeze is headquartered in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
