Former Cincinnati Bengals quarterback A.J. McCarron has impressed in his first XFL season for the St. Louis Battlehawks.

His six-touchdown effort in St. Louis' 53-28 win Saturday against the Orlando Guardians gave him the league's single-season record for TD passes, and may have propelled McCarron to frontrunner for league MVP honors.
