Roads reopening after AJC Peachtree Road Race
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race was back in action Monday, prompting will be several road closures throughout Buckhead and Midtown.
Peachtree Road had fully reopened by 12 p.m.
The World’s Largest 10K was back to being a one-day event on July 4 after organizers had to switch the format up during the COVID-19 pandemic for the past two years. The AJC Peachtree Road Race also offered a virtual option again.
The wheelchair races started at 6:25 a.m. followed by the women’s elite runners at 6:50 a.m. and the men’s elite runners at 7 a.m.

Peachtree Road from Lenox Road to Around Lenox Pkwy – Beginning 12:30 a.m.
Peachtree Road from Lenox Road to Peachtree Dunwoody Road
Around Lenox Road from Peachtree Road to Lenox Road
Lenox Road from Peachtree Road to Ferncliff Road
Buckhead Loop from Peachtree Road to GA 400
Phipps Blvd. from Buckhead Loop to Wieuca Road
Wieuca Road from Old Ivy Road to Roxboro Road
Roxboro Road from Kingsboro Road to Peachtree Dunwoody Road
Prichard Road from Roxboro Road to Oak Valley Road
Lakeside Road from Pritchard Road to Kingsboro Road
Kingsboro Road from Roxboro Road to Lenox Road
Oak Valley Road from Peachtree Road to E. Paces Ferry Rd

10th Street from Charles Allen to Monroe Drive: Friday, July 1 from 9:30 a.m. to Monday, July 4 at 5:00 p.m.
10th Street from Myrtle to Charles Allen: Monday, July 4 at 2:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Monroe Drive from Kanuga to Virginia: Monday, July 4, 5:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
8th Street from Monroe to Peachtree Street: Monday, July 4 at 7:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Peachtree Place from Peachtree St. to West Peachtree: Monday, July 4 at 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
