Akron Ward 4 meeting planned Tuesday. Federal stimulus meeting scheduled Thursday

Akron Councilman Russel Neal will host the Ward 4 December meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lawton Street Community Center. Police Chief Steve Mylett will share with the residents his plans for the Akron Police Department.

Residents will also receive updates about the Maple Valley Merchants Association, Kerr Park development, the Neighborhood Dads program and the Ward 4 Akron Community Collaborative initiatives.

On Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at St. Sebastian's Zwisler Hall, consulting firm Guidehouse will present the City's plan to spend $145 million from the federal American Rescue Plan Act. Residents can share their ideas on how the city should utilize the dollars.
