Akron's Goodyear Branch Library temporarily closing for maintenance project

The Akron-Summit County Public Library Goodyear Branch Library, 60 Goodyear Blvd., will be closed Jan. 16-21 for a maintenance project.

The library said that dates may be extended or changed without notice.

The branch’s book drops will also be closed. Due dates for library items that are checked out will be adjusted.

During the closure, library customers can visit and return materials to other nearby library locations, including Ellet (2470 E. Market St.), Firestone Park (1486 Aster Ave.), Main Library (60 S. High St.) and Tallmadge (90 Community Road).

Library cardholders can access the library’s digital collection remotely through hoopla, Kanopy, Libby and other resources.
