Al Roker is recovering after blood clots landed him in the hospital.
The “Today” host, 68, took to Instagram Friday to update the world on his health.
“Last week I was admitted to the hospital with a blood clot in my leg which sent some clots into my lungs,” Roker captioned a picture from the hospital, which showed a bouquet of flowers and an NBC News mug.
“After some medical whack-a-mole, I am so fortunate to be getting terrific medical care and on the way to recovery,” continued Roker, who thanked followers for their “well wishes and prayers.”
Roker’s wife, ABC News correspondent Deborah Roberts, took to the comments section of her husband’s post to say she is “so grateful for the top notch medical care and prayer warriors from every corner.”
“We love you dearly sweet Al and can’t wait to get you home,” continued Roberts, 62.
Several of Roker’s NBC colleagues also took to the comments section of his post to offer their well wishes and support, including Savannah Guthrie. “You’re the strongest person we know. We miss you and will see you soon!!,” Guthrie wrote.
