Al Stewart to perform in St. Johns County on Feb. 27 at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall

Folk-rock singer Al Stewart is returning to the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.

Stewart, best-known for two hits from the late '70s, “Year of the Cat” and “Time Passages,” is scheduled to play at 8 p.m. Feb. 27. He has performed in the Concert Hall several times since 2011.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 2023, at The St. Augustine Amphitheatre box office and ticketmaster.com. Prices range from $50.50 to $55.50. The Amp box office, open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays, accepts only credit or debit cards. Avoid ticket fees by purchasing tickets in person. The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall box office is open on event days only.

Stewart’s 2023 tour begins with America on Feb. 23 at L3 Harris Theatre at the King Center in Melbourne. He has other Florida stops in Pompano Beach on Feb. 24, Clearwater on Feb. 26 before his Ponte Vedra show on Feb. 27.

The Scottish-born singer-songwriter has released 16 studio recordings and three live albums since his debut in 1967. Stewart has performed with Jimmy Page, Phil Collins, Richard Thompson, Peter White, Alan Parsons, Tori Amos and Tim Renwick.

His most recent recording was a 2010 live album “Uncorked” with Dave Nachmanoff.

Stewart and his band The Empty Pockets will have a series of performances On The Blue Cruise from Jan. 28 to Feb. 2.
