Alabama basketball has added another commitment in the 2023 class.

Kris Parker announced Friday he will play for the Crimson Tide. He is a four-star shooting forward, according to the 247Sports Composite. Parker plays for Crossroad Academy in Quincy, Florida. Parker's other finalists were Missouri, Villanova and UCF. He also had offers from Florida, DePaul, Florida State among others.

"I think Nate Oats is a great coach," Parker told On3.

Parker, who's 6-foot-6, 170 pounds, is the No. 10 prospect in Florida and the No. 20 shooting forward in the 2023 class.

Assistant coach Bryan Hodgson is listed as the primary recruiter for Parker, who had his official visit to Tuscaloosa on Sept. 17.

The Crimson Tide already has three signees from the 2023 class in Sam Walters, Mouhamed Dioubate and RJ Johnson. Walters and Dioubate are both four-star power forwards ranked in the top 22 at their position nationally. Johnson is a three-star guard from Huntsville who is the top-rated prospect in the state.

Davin Cosby, who was also part of the 2023 class, enrolled at Alabama in January and is already with the team, though he is not able to participate. He's a four-star shooting guard who's ranked No. 12 overall at his position nationally.

"We value shooting, athleticism, versatility and we feel that we have checked all the boxes with this class," Alabama coach Nate Oats said in a school release in November about the new signees. "Combined at multiple positions, this class will be able to step in right away and replace the players that we are losing and we are excited to welcome them to the University of Alabama. They are all high character kids that will mesh well with our current players so we are excited to watch them their senior year and get to campus.”
