No. 1 Alabama basketball is looking to get back in the win column against Georgia on Saturday after dropping its first SEC game of the regular season earlier this week to Tennessee.
The Crimson Tide (22-4, 12-1 SEC) has not lost back-to-back games this season. Meanwhile, the Bulldogs (16-10, 6-7) have had two stints in SEC play of three consecutive losses. Georgia has won its past two games, though, against LSU and Kentucky. Its best win in conference play was against Auburn on Jan. 4.
Alabama was Georgia's only SEC win a season ago, but most of this year's Crimson Tide team did not play in the game. Only Noah Gurley and Jahvon Quinerly participated.
"We've got that in the back of our heads," Quinerly said Friday.
