Alabama basketball score vs. Tennessee: Live updates from Thompson-Boling Arena
No. 1 Alabama basketball is looking to score another SEC road victory as it travels to Knoxville to face Tennessee at Thompson-Boling Arena on Wednesday night.
The No. 11 Vols have suffered two buzzer-beating losses in a row and have lost three of their last four games against Florida, Missouri and Vanderbilt. The Crimson Tide (22-3, 12-0 SEC) has already beat all three this season. The one game Tennessee won over the past two weeks was a 46-43 victory over Auburn, who Alabama also beat over the weekend.
Tennessee (19-6, 8-4) has a stout defense on which to fall back. It's No. 1 in the country in adjusted defensive efficiency and No. 1 in effective field goal percentage, per KenPom. The Vols just gave up 86 points to Missouri at home, however, but the Tigers are No. 4 nationally in adjusted offensive efficiency.
Brandon Miller, the SEC's leading scorer, will look to bounce back from an 0-for-7 3-point shooting performance against Auburn.
