Alabama basketball aims to score a victory against Texas A&M on the road Saturday to close out the regular season.

Crimson Tide coach Nate Oats has won everywhere on the road in the SEC over his four seasons in Tuscaloosa, except for College Station, Texas. He has not yet coached a game there because Alabama has not faced the Aggies on the road since Feb. 19, 2019. That preceded the tenure of Oats and Texas A&M coach Buzz Williams.

The matchup will be between the top two teams in the SEC, but the SEC regular-season championship is not on the line in this game. Alabama (26-4, 16-1 SEC) clinched it outright with an overtime win over Auburn this past Wednesday.

The Crimson Tide hasn't beaten Texas A&M (22-8, 14-3) since March 8, 2018, which preceded Oats' time in Tuscaloosa. Alabama is 12-10 in the all-time series against the Aggies.
