“Coach Glasscock will be a wonderful addition to our school community, and I look forward to watching him develop our football program further,” Bailey said in a press release from the school. “His attributes are top notch, and he is a seamless fit for St. Patrick Catholic High School.”

According to the release, Glasscock has coached over 20 Division I signees and a pair of NFL players. His teams are known for their stout defenses.

In 2020, his Bearcats allowed just 13.5 points per game.

“I am excited to welcome Coach Glasscock to the Mississippi Gulf Coast,” incoming Principal Paul Knapstein said. “Coach Glasscock has been extremely successful, both as a defensive coordinator and as a head coach. His vision of what a football program is aligns with our vision. Coach also lives his Catholic faith and will be instrumental in helping form intentional disciples. The energy, passion, expertise, and excitement Coach Glasscock will bring is the perfect mix of talents to pick up where Coach Bailey left off.”
