INDIANAPOLIS — Nick Saban's football success isn't the only thing that has stood the test of time.

So, too, has his leather bomber jacket.

He wore it when he got off the plane Friday in Indianapolis and has since gone viral. But it's not new.

"Would anybody like to guess how old that coat is?" Saban asked the crowd at his radio show in downtown Indianapolis.

He's had it since the 1990s.

“That jacket," Saban said, "whatever you want to call it, was in style, has been out of style, and is back in style."

He has a new one, but he doesn't wear it.

"Why don't you wear the new one?" Terry Saban, his wife, has asked.

"Are you kidding?" Saban replies.

His players approve. Defensive back Jordan Battle and quarterback Bryce Young each gave positive reviews Saturday morning.

"His jacket was very cool," Battle said. "I haven't seen Coach Saban styled like that. And to see that he has a little swag, it kind of brings joy to my heart."

Young called the jacket "fly."

Saban's daughter, Kristen Saban Setas, also posted about the jacket on Instagram earlier in the day, explaining that the jacket wasn't new.

"It's a classic," she wrote. "Leather never goes out of style."

Neither does winning for Saban.
