INDIANAPOLIS — Nick Saban impressed his players with his leather bomber jacket, too.

Saban told his players to make sure to bring a jacket to Indianapolis, where it was 18 degrees upon arrival. They did, and Saban grabbed one that looked fitting for someone who could have flown the aircraft.

Once arriving on the tarmac, Saban walked off the plane sporting the jacket before speaking with reporters at the airport.

"His jacket was very cool," defensive back Jordan Battle said. "I haven't seen Coach Saban styled like that. And to see that he has a little swag, it kind of brings joy to my heart."

Running back Brian Robinson Jr. has been with the program since 2017, and he said that's the first time seeing Saban wear that jacket.

"Coach's jacket was fly," quarterback Bryce Young said. "Coach is always going to step into something we maybe haven't seen before as a team. That's to be expected."

Kristen Saban Setas, Saban's daugther, posted on Instagram on Saturday morning that he has actually had the jacket for 30 years.

"It's a classic," she wrote. "Leather never goes out of style."

Likely sans leather jacket, Alabama (13-1) will face Georgia (13-1) at 7 p.m. CT on Monday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
