Alabama football QB Bryce Young nominated for ESPYS' best college men's athlete

ESPN named Alabama football quarterback Bryce Young as a nominee for the best college athlete in men's sports for the 2022 ESPYS.

Young won the 2021 Heisman Trophy, AP College Football Player of the Year, the Maxwell Award and the Davey O'Brien Award after throwing for 4,872 yards, 47 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He helped the Crimson Tide win the SEC championship and make it to the College Football Playoff championship game.

Young is one of four finalists. The others are Georgetown soccer player Dante Polvara, Gonzaga basketball player Chet Holmgren and Maryland lacrosse athlete Logan Wisnauskas.

The ESPYS will air on ABC at 7 p.m. CST on June 20.
