Alabama football vs. Arkansas: Our final score predictions are in.

Alabama football is facing the Arkansas Razorbacks in one of the few ranked SEC matchups on Saturday.

The Crimson Tide will look to continue their undefeated streak against the Razorbacks, who suffered a 23-21 loss to Texas A&M last week. While Arkansas missed several tackles that cost a close game, Alabama dominated unranked Vanderbilt 55-3.

Arkansas' defense may step up at Razorback Stadium, but will it be enough to match No. 2 Alabama?

Nick Kelly, Alabama beat writer

Alabama 31, Arkansas 20: The front seven could give the Crimson Tide some problems, but Young will find ways to take advantage of Arkansas' weakness in the secondary. The Alabama defense won't be perfect, but its strength defending the run will limit the Razorbacks enough on the ground to win the game.

Christina Long, Arkansas beat writer

Alabama 31, Arkansas 21: This game shouldn't be a disaster for Arkansas. The Razorbacks are arguably Alabama's first real test this season, and the Razorback Stadium crowd will be a factor. But Arkansas' secondary is a poor match for Young, and the Razorbacks can't afford to make the kinds of mistakes they have in their last two games.

Chase Goodbread, Sports columnist

Alabama 35, Arkansas 20: Razorbacks quarterback K.J. Jefferson is a dangerous dual threat who can neutralize the Alabama pass rush with his mobility. Between Jefferson and running back Raheim "Rocket" Sanders, Arkansas has the firepower to move the chains and score. Its secondary, however, will get exposed by Crimson Tide quarterback Bryce Young's accuracy and ability to extend plays. Missed tackles have been an issue for Arkansas as well, which could be a big problem against elusive Alabama running back Jahmyr Gibbs.

Blake Toppmeyer, SEC columnist

Alabama 38, Arkansas 24: The Razorbacks’ big-play ability on offense and relentless pass rush should help make this a competitive game into the fourth quarter, but Arkansas simply doesn’t have the overall defensive clout to combat Bryce Young. And the Tide’s defense is better than last season.

John Adams, Senior sports columnist

Alabama 42, Arkansas 27: Given how much success Missouri State had against Arkansas, Nick Saban probably has secretly hired Bears coach Bobby Petrino as a consultant.

If Missouri State quarterback Jason Shelley could pass for 357 yards against the Razorbacks, imagine how much damage Alabama’s Bryce Young could do.

Possible highlight: A collision between Alabama linebacker Will Anderson and Arkansas quarterback KJ Jefferson.
