Alabama group applies to build Homewood Suites on Pine Forest Road

A proposal to build a new hotel in Northwest Pensacola named Homewood Suites was submitted to Escambia County’s Development Review Committee earlier this month.

The Site Plan for the project’s approval application was filed with Escambia County on Feb. 9 and shows that developers plan to build an approximately 20,000-square foot, multi-story hotel on Boesch Lane.

The project is still in the initial application phase of the approval process with the Development Review Committee, but its application was reviewed on Feb. 21 during the review committee’s weekly meetings.

The project’s owner and developer is Shree Indra Hospitality LLC, who are based in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Northwest Pensacola Residents can expect more commercial projects to pop up near Interstate 10’s Pine Forest Road exit, as Ransley Station’s developers continue to enact their multi-development plan that was approved by Escambia County last year.

Woodspring Suites will be built at 8973 Pine Forest Road, a short walk away from where Homewood Suites’ developers plan to develop.
