Alabama high school football scores, live updates for AHSAA, AISA Week 9

Region titles are on the line in Week 9 of Montgomery-area high school football.

Unbeaten Montgomery Catholic travels to unbeaten Andalusia for a battle between the No. 1 Knights and No. 3 Bulldogs for the top seed in Region 2-4A. Lowndes Academy and Crenshaw Christian, the two most recent AISA Class A champions, face off for a Region 1 title in Luverne.

In other key games from around the River Region, Montgomery Academy looks to score a playoff berth for a 10th straight season with a win at Geneva while Prattville attempts to knock off No. 4 Auburn and move closer to a playoff spot of its own.

The top four finishers in each region will reach the AHSAA playoffs, which begin Nov. 4 and culminate in the Super 7 at Auburn's Jordan-Hare Stadium Nov. 30-Dec. 2. The AISA playoffs also start No. 4, with the finals taking place at Cramton Bowl on Nov. 17.
