The Hornets (34-23) take on No. 1 Tennessee (53-7) in their opening game of the Knoxville regional at Lindsey Nelson Stadium on Friday (6 p.m. ET, SEC Network). ASU clinched the SWAC Tournament championship after a 14-inning marathon against Southern on May 29.
This will be just the second time these two teams have ever met. ASU defeated Tennessee 3-0 in Knoxville in 2016.
