The Cincinnati Bearcats and Alabama football teams meet for a College Football Playoff semifinal in the 2021 Cotton Bowl on Friday, Dec. 31.

Alabama defeated Cincinnati 27-6.

Alabama, ranked No. 1 in the USA Today Sports AFCA Coaches Poll, improved to 13-1 overall. The No. 4-ranked UC Bearcats ended the season 13-1 overall.

Alabama advances to the College Football Playoff national championship game on Monday, Jan. 10.
