Alamance Community College holds in-person graduation

One way Alamance Community College has tried to contain COVID-19 since 2020 is virtual commencement ceremonies, but this year – this week even – graduates will get to “walk” live and in person.

When: 7 p.m. Friday, June 3.

Where: Elon University’s Alumni Gymnasium & Koury Athletic Center.

Who: 726 will receive associates degrees, certificates or diplomas including 79 GEDs, 13 adult-high school degrees, 35 high-school students earing career certificates and diplomas and another 68 earning associates degrees allowing them to transfer into four-year universities as college juniors.

Speaker: North Carolina State Senator 24 Amy Galey for District including Alamance and eastern Guilford counties.
