Election results: Alamogordo City Commission

Nicholas Paul received 515 votes to claim the Alamogordo District 1 City Commission seat in a race he was unopposed in.

The District 3 Commission seat was too close to call around 9:30 p.m. Incumbent Karl Melton by then had received 212 votes, behind Warren Robinson with 223 votes. The third candidate, James Talbert, had 176 votes.

In District 5, Sharon McDonald pulled ahead of Alfonso Hernandez with 182 votes to Hernandez's 120.

In District 6 Mark Tapley, also seeking reelection, was unopposed. He received 498 votes as of 9:30 p.m.

Trustee positions in Tularosa, Cloudcroft

The District 8 trustee position in Tularosa saw Mark Garwood garner 393 votes by 9:30 p.m. He was opposed by Antonia Moheit, 194 votes, Ali Kassam, 60 votes, Manuel Brusuelas, 211 votes, and Stephanie DuBois with 176 votes.

The District 9 trustee position in Cloudcroft saw Tabitha Foster win 51 votes to her opponents Matthew Lockner, 32 votes, and Timothy King, 34 votes, as reported in early election results.
