Alamogordo Flower Company and Gifts celebrates more than 30 years in Alamogordo

Balloons featuring pumpkins were still floating at Alamogordo Flower Company and Gifts' shop on Texas Avenue, even as Christmas trees, Santa Clauses and other Christmas gifts were on being arranged for display.

"Holidays are always fun, they're stressful, but they're always so much fun to send beautiful arrangements to make people smile," Alamogordo Flower Company co-owner Stacy Brabson, AIFD, CFD said.

"Mom and I share the mission of this is God's product and we put it out in the world and that's what we need to be doing. We always have lots of fun just creating our arrangements... We're so blessed here."

The shop is owned by Brabson, and her mother Margaret Brabson, AIFD, CFD. Margaret Brabson is an accredited florist by the American Institute of Floral Designers, designations awarded following a skills assessment from the American Institute of Floral Design.
