Alaska, China and Las Vegas among the variety of places kids want to visit for vacation
The Kids Page is a compilation of responses written by kindergarten to eighth-grade students from area schools. Students are asked a different question each month and answers are printed weekly.
This month’s question: If you could go anywhere in the world for a summer vacation, where would you go and why?

If I could go anywhere in the world I would want to go to Alaska. I want to go to Alaska because one of my favorite animals are a arctic fox and arctic fox’s migerate to Alaska. I also like cold days more than warm days. I’ve also wanted to see the Ididarod dog sleg race. If you don’t know what the Ididarod is a dog race that is very dangeres. They go on thin ice some sleds could fall in the ice. Some could get atacked by preadeders. Or one of you dogs could get hurt, you would have to stop and put them on the sled too. I’ve also wanted to go to Alaska because I was to have a snowball fight with my brother. And if we take my dog Scout it would cool him off because he has a lot of fur. And thats why I would want to go to Alaska if I could go anywhere in the world for summer vacation.

I would go to Hawaii. I would go there because my antie went there and when she came home she had a lot of famous candy from tiktok. And on my god she had a lot of pictures and it looked like she had an amazing time. So that’s why I want to go!

I would go to North Carolina because it is an awesome place to go for vacation. Another reason is you can ride the waves on a boogy boared or a surf boared. My second reason is you can get a nice house.

If I could go to any place in the world for summer vacation I would go to Kelleys Island because we have out own privet beach. Another reson I would go to Kelleys Island because ther is a lake. That why I would got to Kelleys Island.

I would go to Florida because it is… nice and has a beach. And it is sunny and you can relax. And you can go to Disney! And don’t forget guest Mrs. Fennell and Mrs Brodie and Georgia Emmons and Emmy Bowman and for boys Gabe Hissom, Gage Stentz and Tucker Iceman. And you can biuld sandcasls.

If I could go anywhere in the world I would go to Kalahari, and Kalahari is awesome in so many ways. Here is my opinion on Kalahari and how it is awesome. First, you can go to Kalahari in any season, because they have an outside and inside pool. Next, you can get a room and stay a few nights, because it’s so fun you’ll want to stay! And if you’re worried about food, clothes and other necessities, they have stores in their building! Finally, they have a kids area, an arcade, and so many waterslides, and more! I think you should go to Kalahari too!

I would go to China for summer vaction because I can speak simple Chinese and I want to see the great wall of China. Also I want to try all of the food there. First I want to see the Great wall of China because It is really big and long. Also, I have never been out of Ohio. Next I can speak simple Chinese and because of that I can speak to the locals about where they have been. Finally I want to try Chinese food from there because I have heard it is really delicious and good. Do you think going to China would be fun?

If I could go anywhere in the world it would be Hawaii. The reason it would be Hawaii is because my grandpa and grandma went there and the pictures and stories they showed and telled were amazing and the pictures are beautiful. It looks like paradise because it’s so amazing! I also learned a lot of cool facts like the sand there is black in some places. It also has lots of different things there that you don’t see in Ohio! For example coconuts that grow there and the pineapple plants that also grow there. So Hawaii is really fun so do you want to go?

If I could go anywhere in the world for summer vacation I would go to Paris with my mom. She has always wanted to go there and I want to snap a pic of the Eiffel Tower. My mom and I would go to Paris and I would love to be on the Eiffel Tower. My mom and I would love to be there one day. I love Paris and my mom so we would get food, maybe a hotel if Paris has one. If my mom and i would go to Paris then we would be very grateful and maybe we could bring my brother along too. In conclusion me, my mom and brother would have fun at paris.

Another reason I want to go to Hawaii is because my uncle lives there and I don’t get to see him alot. I also want to see all of the animals like fish and whales. If I could go anywhere it would be New york. I want to go to New York because I want to see the Statue of Liberty and also want to go to a lake. The lake is called Skaneateles Lake. It would be very fun to go swimming there. I would also like to visit Times Square. I think New York would be a very fun place to go.You should go there to experience these amazing places.
