In 2020, Kindred shot and killed Lavon King after he spotted King riding what he believed to be his stolen bike on Pennsylvania near Zuni. Police say surveillance video showed Kindred shooting and killing King. Authorities later found the bike in Kindred’s apartment while investigating another case.
Kindred was found guilty of first degree murder by a jury. His lawyer says they are appealing the verdict.
