ALDI is buying Winn-Dixie: Where are these stores in Volusia, Flagler counties?
ALDI, the German discount grocery chain, is buying Winn-Dixie and Harveys Supermarkets from the Jacksonville-based Southeastern Grocers.
Jason Hart, chief executive officer at ALDI, said in a news release Wednesday that some Winn-Dixie and Harveys Supermarkets stores will be converted to ALDI's format while others will continue to operate as Winn-Dixie and Harveys Supermarkets.
There are no Harveys locations in Volusia or Flagler.
Florida currently has 210 ALDI locations, according to the store's website. The newest location in Volusia County opened this month in Orange City.
In Edgewater, ALDI and Winn-Dixie are located across the street from one another.
