Aldi is looking for people to join their wine club (which involves free wine)
Know your Malbec from your merlot? If you fancy yourself as a secret sommelier, Aldi's offering you the chance to show off your knowledge – and get free wine in return. Yes, really.
The store, known for its delicious wines at affordable prices, is on the lookout for a budding wine connoisseur to join its new panel of reviewers. In return for your time and insight, you'll be sent three lovely bottles of vino to enjoy. All you have to do? Taste and tweet.
Every three months, Aldi selects 30 'burgeoning wine experts' to roadtest its new wines. You'll be asked to review the wines in a tweet with the hashtag #AldiWineClub.
As part of the panel, not only will you get free wine to drink (hurrah!), you'll also receive information and notes to guide you on how to rate everything from the aroma, body and taste.
The search for the 22nd panel is now on! You'll need to send in a 150-word piece on why you should be selected, by 3 June. All the details on how to apply can be found at aldi.co.uk.
