ALDI Opens Remodeled Store On Aurora’s Far East Side

AURORA, IL — ALDI recently welcomed customers back into its store on Aurora’s far east side after the facility underwent major renovations and upgrades. The grocery store at 4444 Ogden Ave. reopened Thursday with an improved layout and new safety features, according to ALDI officials.

The new-and-improved Aurora store is part of the company’s push to remodel and expand more than 1,300 stores throughout the U.S.

The recently reopened store features an expanded selection of fresh and convenient foods, along with elevated design improvements, while providing a streamlined experience, officials said.

“Each time we remodel a store, the customer feedback is fantastic, and we can’t wait to welcome the Aurora residents back with an even better ALDI experience,” said Laura Branneman, who serves as vice president of ALDI’S Batavia division. ALDI’S U.S. operations are based in Batavia.

The grocery store at 4444 Ogden Ave. in Aurora is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Shoppers can also place orders for curbside pickup after ALDI expanded that service to 600 stores amid the coronavirus pandemic.

ALDI has four other locations in the Aurora area: 1410 E. New York St., Aurora; 2275 W. Galena Boulevard, Aurora; 2050 Mayfield Dr., Montgomery; and 199 Miller Dr., North Aurora.
