Aldi's Yankee Candle dupes look brilliant - and are much cheaper than the original
Off the back of their sell-out Jo Malone dupes, Aldi is launching their own version of Yankee Candles, and the scents sound delicious.
They're already available in store, so this is probably one of those occasions where you want to run, not walk.
As we head into the colder months, there's only one thing on our mind: getting cosy. Now that the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer, snuggling up on the sofa with a cup of tea, a TV thriller and a scented candle seems like the only thing for it.
Thanks to Aldi's new innovation, there are new candles to choose from. The supermarket announced the release of their jar candles today [16 October], which look distinctly similar to Yankee Candles.
As the press release states, '"Autumn is here and it is the season to snuggle up on the sofa, pop a candle on and hibernate until the sun comes back out and with Supermarket Aldi’s new range of candles you will never want to leave home!"
The Jar Candle scents are inspired by the smells of fresh baking, and come in four variations: Sugared Cinnamon, Creamy Vanilla, Black Cherry and Blueberry & Apple. Apparently, these candles will make your home smell of sweet, freshly baked treats.
Available in store now, the jar candles are £2.99 each - making them a budget alternative to the classic Yankee Candles.
This isn't the first time Aldi have been praised for their high end dupes, with the supermarket getting a name for themselves in the homeware department thanks to their Jo Malone inspired candles. First launched in 2017, with smells including Pomegranate, Fig and Cassis and Lime, Basil and Mandarin.
