ALEA: Tennessee man killed in Madison County crash

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), says that a 61-year-old man was killed in a crash on Sunday.

The fatal crash took place on Winchester Road, seven miles north of New Market.

One dead after wreck on Winchester Road near Tennessee state line

According to troopers, a 2009 Toyota 4Runner left the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned around 11:30 a.m. Troopers said the 61-year-old Mikey Williams, of Huntland, Tennessee was not using a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. Williams was the passenger in the vehicle.

The crash remains under investigation by ALEA.
