Alec Baldwin, Donald Trump Jr. exchange Twitter jabs over 'Saturday Night Live' skit

Alec Baldwin is taking on another Trump.

After clashing with President Donald Trump over his "Saturday Night Live" portrayal, Baldwin took to Twitter to address criticism from another member of the family – Donald Trump Jr.

Trump's eldest son, 41, slammed Baldwin after the actor reprised his Emmy award-winning impression of Trump on the NBC show Saturday. During the opening sketch, Baldwin, 60, poked fun at the president's national emergency declaration from the Rose Garden on Friday.

"Spare everyone your (expletive) Alec!" Trump Jr. tweeted Monday.

Baldwin fired back, telling the outspoken businessman that he can watch "SNL" from behind bars.

"You know, Junior, I’m sure u r stressed, facing a possible indictment and prison time for being part of the first criminal enterprise to operate out of the (White House)," Baldwin said on @ABFalecbaldwin, the Twitter account for the Hilaria and Alec Baldwin Foundation. "But don’t worry. Tune in @nbcsnl while you are in the slammer. Your dad and his nuttiness will never be far away."

The two started sparring on Twitter after Baldwin went head-to-head with Trump Sr. following Saturday's episode.

"Nothing funny about tired Saturday Night Live on Fake News NBC! Question is, how do the Networks get away with these total Republican hit jobs without retribution? ... This is the real Collusion!" Trump tweeted, before adding: "THE RIGGED AND CORRUPT MEDIA IS THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!"

Baldwin questioned if Trump's tweet had constituted a threat.

"I wonder if a sitting President exhorting his followers that my role in a TV comedy qualifies me as an enemy of the people constitutes a threat to my safety and that of my family?" he tweeted, prompting a response from Trump Jr.

"The guy that punches people in the face over a parking spot, has aggressively harassed paparazzi, and humiliated his daughter berating her over the phone eye etc is worried about a tweet that doesn’t even mention him?" he tweeted at Baldwin.

Trump Jr. continued: "Oh, Don’t forget the homophobic slurs... this clown is such a mess it’s hard to keep track."
