Alesha Dixon’s ex MC Harvey says admitting he’d cheated with Javine Hilton was worst thing he’s ever had to do

Alesha Dixon's ex-husband MC Harvey has said that telling her he'd been cheating with Javine Hylton was the worst thing he's ever had to do.

The Mis-Teeq singer and So Solid Crew rapper married in 2005, but split in 2006 when it emerged that he had been having an affair with former Popstars: The Rivals contestant Hylton.

Now, the 43-year-old has spoken to the James English Anything Goes podcast about the devastating effects of having to tell his wife that he had been cheating on her.

Remembering the day it happened, he said: "The day I left Javine's house, it was so weird. I'd left her house and I was driving home to my marital home and as I'm two miles from my house, she (Javine) rang me and said 'she knows, she knows' as I pulled up on my drive.

"The worst thing I've ever had to do is tell a woman I cheated on her."

MC Harvey recalled the details of the tough conversation as he said: "When I walked in the front room, Alesha just said to me: 'Do you want some food Harvey?' and I'm thinking 'Yeah, of course I will.'

"She was there watching TV when she paused it and my heart sank. She said: 'How long has it been going on Harvey?' and that was it.

"I thought she was going to kill me. To this day, it is the worst two days I've ever spent in my house."

MC Harvey and Hylton stayed together for a few years and had a daughter in 2008, but later split.

He then married dancer Ghamzeh Mahdizadeh, who he also had a daughter with, but reportedly split from her just weeks after their wedding.

Britain's Got Talent judge Dixon, 43, is now married to Azuka Ononye, who she has two children with.

Talking about the breakdown of her marriage to MC Harvey on Piers Morgan's Life Stories, she said: "I felt lost. I couldn't find the words.

"You ask those questions: Why? What have I done wrong?”
