Alex Corradetti has been named morning news co-anchor at Milwaukee CBS affiliate WDJT-TV (Channel 58)
Alex Corradetti, who joined Milwaukee CBS affiliate WDJT-TV (Channel 58) as a reporter in November, has been named co-anchor of the station's morning newscast.
Corradetti fills the anchor chair vacated last week by Meghan Reistad, who is getting married and moving to Minnesota. Jessie Garcia, news director at Channel 58, posted the news on social media Tuesday.
Our new morning anchor is @AlexCorradetti. Alex has an infectious spirit and a huge heart. She will make you laugh (no one does puns like her!) We're excited for the future with @MikeCurkov, @FrankieJupiter, @JustinTGee, @ABrovelli and the rest of our morning team. @CBS58 pic.twitter.com/xSg314FQsj

Corradetti came to Channel 58 from WKRN-TV in Nashville, where she was a breaking news anchor and reporter. Before that, the Chicago-area native worked at WCIA-TV in Champaign, Illinois.
She's the second morning news anchor recently added to Channel 58's lineup.
Last month, the Weigel Broadcasting-owned station announced that Frankie Jupiter would join as morning news co-anchor in early June, replacing the departing Pauleen Le. Le left the station in March to become a reporter at WCCO-TV in Minneapolis; she's an Eagan, Minnesota, native.
Channel 58's morning news team also includes co-anchor Mike Curkov, meteorologist Justin Thompson-Gee and traffic reporter Andy Brovelli. The morning news show airs weekdays from 4:30 to 7 a.m. on Channel 58, and from 7 to 9 a.m. on sister station WMLW.
