Alex Drummond Gave Herself an At-Home Haircut and People Are Loving It

Alex Drummond has tried out a handful of different hairstyles over the years, but her latest 'do is the one that has everyone talking. When The Pioneer Woman's daughter shared a series of selfie videos to her Instagram story, followers couldn't help but notice that her blonde locks were shorter than usual. Alex received "so many messages" complimenting her new look, she finally had to explain how she achieved it.
"Fun fact: I cut my own hair the other night," Alex admitted. "I was watching all these old videos from quarantine, like that Reel that I posted . . . and I was like wow, I really miss my short hair."
Like many of us who experimented with their hair in 2020, Alex had "really chopped it" during quarantine.
"So I was like, 'You know what? I'm just gonna cut it myself.' So I cut off like three inches," she said. "And I honestly don't think I did a bad job!"
Alex is not a "DIY girl," so she's not sure what inspired her to pick up the scissors and test out her snipping skills. It turns out that she's craftier than she gave herself credit for!
"I'm sure there are some stray strands in there, but thanks for the encouragement!" she said. "Is this my sign that I need to pursue a hairstylist career?"
