X Factor's Alexandra Burke broke down in tears on Loose Women as she opened up on the reason why she has yet to reveal her baby’s name and gender.

ALEXANDRA BURKE: --talk about this. But in the process of me being who I am, I asked for this but my family never. So-- Oh, I'm sorry.

- You don't have to talk about it.
ALEXANDRA BURKE: No, it just--
- But you couldn't know the impact.
ALEXANDRA BURKE: The impact on them is hard.
- Yeah.
- Yeah.
- Because you can't keep their privacy, essentially.
ALEXANDRA BURKE: Exactly, and I think it's really, they never asked for it. I asked for it. So I want to protect the baby as much as I can.
- Yeah.
ALEXANDRA BURKE: And let the baby make a decision.
- It's the right decision.
ALEXANDRA BURKE: And I don't mean to be that person crying because I'm very happy today. But even when I spoke to my friends about it, I was like, I don't want to hurt anyone in the process of who I am.
- Yeah.
ALEXANDRA BURKE: And the life that I've chosen, so--
- So your child can make that decision.
ALEXANDRA BURKE: I'm protecting them. Yeah, absolutely.
- When they see fit or not.
ALEXANDRA BURKE: Absolutely.

ALEXANDRA BURKE: And I think that's-- my mom would probably say that was the wise thing to do.
