Alfman wins national amateur radio award

Cambridge Amateur Radio Association Public Information Officer Lyn Alfman receives the Philip J. McGan Memorial Silver Antenna Award by ARRL Great Lakes Division Director Dale Williams of Dundee, Michigan at CARA’s 110th anniversary awards banquet. The annual award is given nationally to a public information officer who promotes every aspect of amateur radio. Alfman has been CARA’s public information officer for 24 years and an ARRL Ohio section public information officer for 12 years.
