Parade Ride Volunteer Needed

The 175th Committee is looking for volunteers to ride in the Wordi Gras parade Saturday, Feb. 10.

Volunteers will ride in an easy-to-get-into wagon that is low to the ground. Participants will throw out beads and commemorative wooden nickels.

175 Anniversary Committee T-Shirts

The committee for the 175th Alhambra Anniversary is selling T-shirts with the 175th logo on them.

The shirts are available in either blue or green and may be purchased at the Village Hall from 8:a.m. to noon.

Call the village clerk at 618-488-3505 to order one. Someone on the committee will see that you get it.

The cost is $15 up to size XL and $16 for XXL. Other sizes may be ordered.

Save the date Sunday, March 17, to attend the second fun-filled evening of mouse races at Township Park in Alhambra, sponsored by the 175th Anniversary Committee.

Resident Phone Numbers

The Village Clerk asks all residents to see that the village office has a current phone number for each household.

In the event of a water or gas leak it may be necessary to contact someone immediately.

Phone numbers will not be shared with anyone and used only to relay necessary information.

Alhambra Primary

Each teacher will choose one winner per class by Friday, Feb. 9.

School will dismiss at 11:50 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 2.

There will be no pre-K on this date due to screenings at Alhambra Primary.

Students attending Latchkey are asked to bring their lunch.

Snow Plowing

Alhambra residents are asked to park vehicles off the roads if possible when the snow plows are trying to clear the roads.
