Alisa, 4-year-old girl from Azovstal separated from her mother by the Russians, sent to her grandfather

The head of the Service for Children of Zaporizhzhia region Antonina Matvieieva said the girl had identified her grandparents, and was given over to their care, Radio Liberty reported.
“The girl was handed over to her grandfather by Children's Services Order of Zaporizhzhia City Council. A conference was held with grandmother, the girl’s biological grandmother, whom she recognized,” Matvieieva said.
She clarified that the girl's grandmother is currently in Poland.
“Documents were drawn up, duplicates of the girl's birth certificate were received. The girl is currently living with her relatives, under an order issued by the service,” she said.

Earlier it was reported that during the last evacuation from the plant, the invaders separated the woman and her daughter Alisa. The mother remained in a Russian concentration camp in the part of Donetsk Oblast occupied by Russia. According to the Azov Regiment, the woman is a military doctor who provided assistance to injured people in Azovstal around the clock.
Following evacuation only Alisa arrived at the evacuation destination point in Zaporizhzhya, and her mother's whereabouts are currently unknown. Ukrainian soldiers have called on the world community to intervene and ensure the release of the woman.
