Allegheny County Has No New Coronavirus Deaths

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department on Monday reported no new coronavirus deaths. The county death toll remains at 258.

The county reported 75 new cases. The total number of cases in the county during the outbreak is 8,932.

In the newest cases, ages range from 10 to 964years old with the median age being 46.

Seven hundred and thirty-five people been hospitalized in the county during the outbreak. One new hospitalization was reported.

With 1,537 cases in Westmoreland County, 1,316 in Beaver County, 840 in Washington County and 661 in Butler County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county region to 13,286 when Allegheny County numbers are included.

According to the state Department of Health, there have been 423 deaths in the region from the virus: Two hundred and fifty-eight in Allegheny County County, 92 in Beaver County, 46 in Westmoreland County, 15 in Butler County and 12 in Washington County. Washington reported one new death.
