Rockslide causes Allegheny County road closure
A road closed in Allegheny County Thursday morning due to a rockslide.
Video from a Channel 11 photographer captured large boulders across Brighton Road in Ross Township.
The road between Bascom Avenue and Jacks Run Road closed to traffic. Fire trucks were on the scene.

The call came in around 5:33 a.m.
North Hills School District posted about the road closure on social media, stating high school bus routes were impacted.
🚌🚨 @abctransit is aware of this rockslide on Brighton Rd near Jacks Run Rd and its drivers have an alternate routes. HS routes were most impacted as it happened earlier this morning. If there are any delays, it will only be about 5-6 mins. due to the alternate routes. TIA! https://t.co/5g9uibfTmW
