Allegiant adds another flight from Knoxville to Orlando. How to book it for as low as $49

Allegiant Air is adding Orlando International Airport to its services out of McGhee Tyson Airport, and to celebrate its first added destination in over a year, the airline is offering one-way tickets as low as $49 on select flights out of Knoxville.

To get the deal, you must book through allegiant.com by Nov. 17 for travel through Aug. 12, 2024. The Allegiant flights to Orlando International Airport begin May 17 and will run on Mondays and Fridays.

Allegiant offers each traveler a free personal item, such as a backpack or a purse, but charges for carry-on and checked luggage. Make sure you read over the airline's baggage fees policy before you book to avoid surprise charges.

Of the 27 nonstop destinations out of McGhee Tyson Airport, 15 are already serviced by Allegiant, an ultra low-cost carrier that has been instrumental in helping Knoxville's airport recover from the pandemic with record passenger numbers. The airline made Knoxville a regional hub in 2018.

“The addition of Orlando International Airport expands our regional footprint to serve the southeast metropolitan area, providing visitors and residents even more travel options to make the most out of their vacations," said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s senior vice president of revenue and planning.
