The airport, specifically an operations partner, filed a Florida Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) letter indicating plans to permanently lay off 93 workers starting on Sept. 25. The WARN letter was signed by Elizabeth S. Brown, president of TBI US Inc., a subsidiary of France-based airport terminal operations and aircraft services provider Vinci Airport.

“A number of OSI employees will experience layoffs as a result of unforeseeable business circumstances that have resulted in a partial permanent reduction within OSI’s ground handling operation,” said Brown’s letter. No other specific details of the reason were included.
