Allen Robinson exits practice with knee injury, questionable vs. Lions in Week 13

The Chicago Bears can’t afford to lose wide receiver Allen Robinson from their struggling offense. Not even for one series. He’s that important to this team.

That’s why his exit from Friday’s practice with a knee injury is such a big deal. While coach Matt Nagy told the media that his departure was more for precautionary reasons, A-Rob’s status for Sunday’s game against the Lions was dubbed questionable.

Robinson leads the Bears in every major receiving category this season with 71 catches for 829 yards and five touchdowns. There’s simply no way Chicago would be able to fill his void, especially with rookie pass-catcher Darnell Mooney also dealing with a knee injury that kept him out of Friday’s practice session.

The Bears will look to end their five-game losing streak Sunday against the Lions at Soldier Field. At 5-6, Chicago’s playoff hopes are dwindling by the week, and a loss to Detroit would all but end their season.
