Alliance Data to manage Barneys credit card
Alliance Data says it will manage credit card program for luxury retailer Barneys New York
DALLAS (AP) -- Alliance Data Systems Corp. said Tuesday that it will provide private-label credit card services for Barneys New York, the high-end retailer.
No financial terms were disclosed.
Alliance Data helps consumer companies use data to market to their customers. It said it will manage programs for Barneys that are meant to reward repeat shoppers, including the existing loyalty program called My Barneys Bag.
Shares of Alliance Data, which is based near Dallas, closed at $155.05 Monday, up 23 percent over the past 12 months. They were inactive in premarket trading Tuesday.
