Alliance Elks Lodge 467 has announced its February Teenagers of the Month. The students are selected by their respective schools based on scholarship, leadership, character, citizenship and service to school and community.

ALLIANCE

Bridgette Runion – The daughter of Ashley and Jamey Runion is on the softball, golf and track and field teams while being an EBC Scholar Athlete. She is a member of National Honor Society, Key Club, and Culture Club. Runion is a class officer, office aide, guidance aide, Youth Baseball assistant coach and volunteers at Alliance Community Pantry. She plans to attend college to major in Early Childhood Education to become a kindergarten teacher.

Kiernan Canavan – The son of Jessie Canavan and Drew Canavan is in the marching and concert bands and on the tennis team. He is a member of National Honor Society, 2021-2023 Lincoln-Douglas Debate, and in the 2023 pit for Alliance school musical. Canavan plans to attend The College of Wooster, and is interested in museum curation.

LOUISVILLE

Anna Ramsey – The daughter of Shelley Ramsey and Mike Ramsey plays basketball (school and AAU) while being a four-year scholar athlete. She is a member of National Honor Society, Key Club, Science Club, Jo's Mentors, Hope Squad and Pre-Med Club. Ramsey volunteers at Louisville Community Cupboard. She plans to attend college to major in psychology with a goal of becoming a school psychologist.

Landon Parks – The son of Chris Parks and Alana Parks is in marching band and is captain of the Overwatch eSports team. He is president of National Honor Society and Student Council, co-president of Key Club, and a member of Spirit Club, Science Club and Pre-Med Club. Parks volunteers at Louisville Elementary Study Table and Akron Children's Hospital. He plans to attend college to obtain a master’s degree in psychology to help others grow.

MARLINGTON

Natalie Maiorana – The daughter of Jim and Terri Maiorana is captain of the volleyball team, and is a Youth Volleyball coach. She is a member of National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, president of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and member of Character Counts and Rotary Interact Club. Maiorana plans to attend University of Mount Union to study to become a physician's assistant while playing volleyball.

Caden Bates – The son of David and Amber Bates plays basketball and baseball while also assisting with running the scoreboard for the Marlington girls basketball team. He is an Aultman Ambassador who plans to attend Bowling Green State University to become a physical therapist while playing baseball.

MINERVA

Tori Dunham – The daughter of Mindy Dunham and Shawn Dunham is on the cross country and track teams. She is a member of National Honor Society and Student Council, and is an Aultman Ambassador. Dunham plans to attend college to major in biochemistry to do medical research.

Peyton Rich – The son of Todd Rich and Brooke Wood. Peyton plays basketball and baseball. He is a member of National Honor Society, was Fall Homecoming king, is a Mayle Home volunteer and works at Dairy Queen and Grinders. Peyton plans to attend Kent State University to study nursing.

SEBRING

Caden Shepherd – The son of Bob Shepherd and Heidi Shepherd plays basketball and helps with Youth Basketball in the summer. His future plans are undecided.

ST. THOMAS

Orlasia Hunter – The daughter of Collette Hunter is captain of the volleyball team. She is secretary of the National Honor Society and president of Student Council. She also is a Student Ambassador and in Pep Club, Campus Ministry and Mass Media. Hunter plans to attend Westminister College to study nursing while playing volleyball.

Antonio Pansera – The son of Anthony Pansera plays soccer and is a member of Key Club. He plans to attend college to study computer science.

WEST BRANCH

Chelsea Tharp – The daughter of Jenny and AJ Tharp is a member of the color guard. She is a member of National Honor Society, Educators Rising and Environmental Club. She was a Buckeye Girls State delegate. Tharp will be the 2023 class valdevictorian, and plans to attend John Carroll University to major in education and integrated social studies.

Zachary Fediaczko – The son of Tracie and Clark Fediaczko is a member of marching and concert bands. He is an Aultman Ambassador, a member of Educators Rising, Academic Challenge, Sound and Stage Crew for musicals, as well as a Student Leader of Dungeons and Dragons Club. Fediaczko plans to attend Kent State University to study education for integrated social studies.
