Alliance Elks Lodge 467 has announced its March Teenagers of the Month. The students are selected by their respective schools based on scholarship, leadership, character, citizenship and service to school and community.

Alliance

MacKenzie Kuntzman – The daughter of Jennyfer and Chuck Kuntzman plays softball, is a guidance office aide, and is taking college credit classes while working at Coastal Pet. She will receive an Investment Alliance Scholarship and will attend University of Mount Union to major in psychology.

Mack Heslop – The son of Katie and Vince Heslop is on the soccer, tennis and swim teams. He is also in marching, concert and pep bands. Heslop is a member of National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, is an ACSC referee, and volunteers at Regina Coeli’s Fish Fry, Royal Aviation backstage and with the homebound and those needing yard work in the neighborhood. He plans to attend college to major in business.

Louisville

Alexis Jobe – The daughter of Lynette and Scott Jobe plays volleyball, is in concert band and is a scholar athlete. She is a member of National Honor Society and Key Club. Jobe is a volunteer for Elementary Study Tables, Rotary Club and Carry a Can for the Community Cupboard. She plans to attend the University of West Virginia to major in nursing.

Judson Lewis – The son of Bryan and Kim Lewis is in marching, concert and jazz bands. He is a member of National Honor Society, Key Club, History Club and pre-Med Club. He is president of Science Club. Lewis will attend Ohio State University with a biochemistry major. He will be auditioning for Ohio State University’s marching band and will tour with Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps this summer.

Marlington

Emma Jackson – The daughter of Chip and Melanie Jackson is captain of the softball team and was a goalie in soccer. She is a member of National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Duke Crew, Character Counts, Student Council and Rotary Interact Club. Jackson plans to attend University of West Virginia Wesleyan to pursue a degree in computer science while playing softball.

Evan Dennison – The son of Christopher and Rebecca Dennison is in marching and concert bands, Marlington Chorale and Drama Dukes. He is a member of National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Chess Club and is treasurer of Robotics Club. Dennison is a member of Carnation City Players. He plans to attend college to pursue a degree in chemistry and music while acting.

Minerva

Kaela Bartley – The daughter of Claudia and Bill Barr, and Corey Bartley is in marching band, EBC Choir, fall plays and spring musicals. She is an Eagle Scout Order of the Arrow and was a Buckeye Girls State delegate. Kaela is a member of National Honor Society, Academic Challenge, Debate Club, community theater and band. She plans to attend college with an undecided major.

Jason Smith – The son of Kelly Smith is in marching and jazz bands. He is a member of Drama Club, International Circle, Chess Club, Youth Group, and created a Bible Study. Jason plans to attend Ohio State University to major in chemistry.

St. Thomas

Sara Procaccio – The daughter of Louis and Rhonda Procaccio is captain of the soccer team and runs track. She is involved in 4-H and gymastics, and is a member of Key Club and Culture Club. Procaccio plans to attend the University of Cincinnati to study cybersecurity.

Ta'Jon Grogan – The son of London Grogan is captain of the basketball team and has received multiple presidental scholarships for college. He plans to major in nursing, with plans to become a traveling nurse.

West Branch

Makiah Kutz – The daughter of Elisha and Jeremiah Kutz is in marching, concert, pep and jazz bands. She is a member of National Honor Society, Educators Rising, Academic Challenge and Art Club. Kutz volunteers with DFC Youth Camp and plans to attend the University of Akron to major in Spanish.

Wyatt Courtwright – The son of Joe Courtwright and Kimberly Courtwright is in marching, concert and jazz bands, Young and Alive and Honors Choir. He is a member of National Honor Society and West Branch musicals. Courtwright plans to attend University of Mount Union to pursue a career in mechanical engineering.
