Thirty-two members of Alliance Lions Club and their guests celebrated another successful year during the club’s recent annual Rose Day Victory Dinner at Alliance Elks Lodge. A total of 1,524 dozen roses were sold and delivered to area businesses and residences in early November. Nine Lions members were recognized for each selling more than 80 dozen roses. A large-print book was donated to Rodman Public Library in honor of each of the top salespersons. Guest speaker Eric Taggart, director of Rodman Public Library, expressed his appreciation and shared how important large-print books are for many of the library’s patrons.
