Activities

Shuffleboard – 1 p.m. Monday.

Cornhole – 10 a.m. Tuesday and 1 p.m. Thursday.

Ping Pong – 1 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.

Members Euchre – 1 p.m. Monday.

Open Cards – 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

Other programming

Electronics RecyclingAlliance Area Senior Center will hold an event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.Oct. 24. Bring items to the center to be recycled. A $20 fee per monitor, and $50 fee per television will be implemented.

Tours

Tours from the Senior Center are open to the public. Call 330-821-3348 to make reservations.

Rivers Casino – Bus will depart at 8 a.m. Tuesday for the trip. Seats are still available. Those taking part will receive $10 in free-play. Member cost is $34; and non-members will pay $39. Call to make a reservation.

Amish theater – Senior Center will sponsor a trip to see “All Hogs Go To Heaven” on Oct. 25 at the Amish Country Theater for a matinee show. Members cost is $83; and non-members will pay $88.  Ventriloquist Ken Groves and other acts will be included in the show. Cost includes lunch at Dutch Valley, show and transportation. A stop at the Ashery Country Store is included. A second bus has been added.

Holiday lights – Oglebay Festival of Lights with dinner and show will be Dec. 6. Member cost is $89; and non-members will pay $94. The trip will include a festive experience at Oglebay’s Glessner Auditorium in Wilson Lodge. Enjoy buffet dinner followed by the West Virginia Public Theater Variety Christmas Show. Get back on the bus to see the holiday light displays. Cost includes dinner, show, lights and transportation.
