Other activities
THE GRAPE EVENT – Alliance Area Senior Center's 6th annual fundraiser will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. July 21. Let the wineries come to you. Event will feature Ohio wines. Tickets are $18 in advance, $20 at the door. Purchase tickets at Alliance Area Senior Center, 602 W. Vine St. Tickets include fresh baked artesian bread and oil, four wine tastings, cheese and snacks. Event will include raffles. Tickets will be available at the event for additional tastings and wine by the glass.

Tours from the Senior Center are open to the public. Call 330-821-3348 to make reservations.
CLEVELAND GUARDIANS – Join Alliance Area Senior Center for trips to Progressive Field in Cleveland for Guardians baseball games. Buses will depart center at 4:45 for games, and seats are in Club Lounge. Cost is $114 for members, and $119 for non-members. Fee includes transportation and ticket. Games are 7:10 p.m. Tuesday vs. Minnesota Twins; and 7:10 p.m. Aug. 4 vs. Houston Astros. Call the center to sign up.
MGM CASINO – members will travel to Northfield Park casino on July 26. Member cost is $34; and non-members pay $39. Those taking part receive $20 in free play.
PLAYHOUSE SQUARE – Members will travel to Playhouse Square in Cleveland to see Disney’s hit Broadway musical "Frozen." Show will be Aug. 16. Member cost is $147, and non-members pay $152. Cost includes meal, ticket, and transportation.
